The most reliable way to check a surgeon’s academic record is at the source. Prof. Dr. Suleyman Tas keeps a public NCBI My Bibliography on the website of the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), part of the U.S. National Library of Medicine, which also runs PubMed. Journal articles that are indexed in PubMed link directly to their PubMed and DOI records, so anyone can open the original papers. As of October 2026 the bibliography holds 63 records from 2010 to 2026: peer-reviewed journal articles, books, book chapters, a clinical practice guideline, patents and awards. It is updated as new work is published, and not every congress paper or national publication appears in it.

This page explains what is in the bibliography, grouped by subject, with links to the original records. For a shorter selection with study summaries, see Prof. Dr. Suleyman Tas PubMed publications.

How to use this record

If you are comparing surgeons for a facelift or rhinoplasty, open the NCBI bibliography and check three things: whether the papers are in the field you need, whether they appear in peer-reviewed journals indexed in PubMed, and whether the techniques described are the ones offered to you. You can then read about the facelift in Turkey, the deep plane facelift or rhinoplasty in Istanbul, see the curriculum vitae, or send your photographs for an online consultation.
