The patient's concerns

Premature ageing can appear in young men because of genetics, sun exposure, weight fluctuation or intense training. This 25-year-old patient was bothered by smile-line wrinkles, crow's feet, fine wrinkles on the upper and lower eyelids and skin that had started to sag. He wanted to look his age again, without any sign of surgery.

Male facial rejuvenation is different

Men have thicker skin, a richer blood supply to the face and beard-bearing skin that must be positioned correctly. Male brows should stay low and straight, the jawline should remain strong and the hairline and sideburns must not be displaced. Over-tightening or lifting the brows too high quickly feminises a male face. These principles guided every step of this plan.

What was done

Facelift and neck lift

Temporal lift

A conservative temporal lift softened crow's feet and the outer brow heaviness while keeping the brow's masculine, straight shape.

Upper eyelid blepharoplasty

Nano-fat injections

Nano-fat is fat harvested from the patient's own body and processed into very fine, purified particles rich in regenerative cells. Injected into the skin around the eyes and smile lines, it improves skin quality and texture and restores subtle volume.

Result

The patient achieved a rested, firmer and younger-looking face with a defined jawline, softened lines around the eyes and mouth and fresher eyelids, while keeping a completely natural, masculine appearance.

Frequently asked questions

Is 25 too young for facial surgery?

Surgery is considered only when there is true tissue laxity; in selected young patients, early, conservative correction ages very well.

Will a facelift change a man's beard line?

Not when incisions are planned for male anatomy; this is a key part of the operation.

What is the difference between nano-fat and regular fat grafting?

A surgical lift typically holds for around a decade because it is carried by the deeper layer rather than the skin. Ageing continues, so sun protection, skin care and non-surgical maintenance still matter.

Where are the scars?

In the natural creases in front of and behind the ear and inside the hairline, placed so that hair and make-up cover them while they fade over the following months.

How long before I can be seen in public?

Swelling and bruising are most visible during the first ten days. Most patients feel comfortable in public after two to three weeks, and the contours keep refining over six to twelve months.

Can the result be maintained without more surgery?

Largely, yes. Sun protection, good skin care and occasional non-surgical treatments maintain the skin quality that a lift on its own cannot provide.
