Prof. Dr. Suleyman Tas Treatment Enters Medical Literature with Advanced Microsurgery Innovation
A treatment developed by a Turkish doctor has entered the medical literature. The method, applied two years ago by Op. Dr. Suleyman Tas, was recently published in APS (Archives of Plastic Surgery Journal) Regarding the method he applied, "For the first time, a new face was created from the patient's own tissue by mimicking physiological pregnancy in a patient with facial burns. With this new method using the patient's own tissue, face transplants may become a thing of the past." ADVANCED MICROSURGERY WAS USED TO CREATE RE-TRANSPLANTABLE TISSUE.

The patient, whose severed arm was reattached, thanked his doctor, Dr. Suleyman Tas, with that hand.
In Rize, 47-year-old municipal worker Pasa Oral had his left arm severed at the shoulder after it was caught in an asphalt machine. Following an approximately 10-hour operation, the arm was reattached. Having recovered, Pasa Oral thanked Dr. Suleyman Tas, the Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery specialist who performed the operation, by shaking hands with him using his left hand, which he can now use again.

More than 350 surgeons from 27 countries participated in the two-day course. Doctors also received training via the internet. The course covered new techniques used in rhinoplasty and provided information about the equipment used in the procedure. Professor Dr. Suleyman Tas, a cosmetic surgeon, explained the 16 techniques he developed for rhinoplasty to the participants over two days, and also demonstrated them with a live rhinoplasty surgery. Dr. Tas performed the surgery using surgical instruments he developed himself.

This procedure was performed in front of over 100 plastic surgeons from 36 countries during an educational course at Dr. Tas's hospital opening last week. More than 100 plastic surgeons from 36 different countries around the world watched the flawless surgery performed by Prof. Dr. Suleyman Tas. The plastic surgery course, organized under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Suleyman Tas, was also attended by Soner Arca, one of Turkiye's famous singers, who provided a musical treat for the participants. Representing Turkiye, Arca promoted our country's successful healthcare services on an international level.
