Eyebrows, together with facial expressions, are the organs that bring our eye beauty to the forefront and give meaning to our face. Eyebrow drooping is a deformity that becomes noticeable with advancing age and requires aesthetic correction. There are, of course, surgical and non-surgical solutions to address this low eyebrow problem. Many eyebrow lift procedures are performed. Starting with non-surgical procedures, we can list eyebrow lift treatments as Botox, filler, HIFU (non-surgical face lift), and thread eyebrow lift. Surgical eyebrow lift options, on the other hand, can be listed as temporal lift surgery and endoscopic eyebrow lift surgery.

Eyebrow Lift with Botox

Eyebrow lift with Botox involves applying Botox to the tip of the eyebrow, raising it by 1 to 2 millimeters. It typically lasts between 6 and 8 months, and you may need to repeat the treatment. The procedure takes 5 to 10 minutes. There is no pain, and swelling or bruising does not occur. You can return to your social life immediately after the procedure. Botox can be reapplied once its effect wears off, and it can be repeated as many times as needed.

Eyebrow Filler

Eyebrow filler is applied beneath the eyebrow. The filler applied under the eyebrow raises it by 1 to 2 millimeters as well. The procedure takes 5 to 10 minutes. There is no pain, swelling, or bruising. You can continue your social life right after the procedure, and its effects last between 8 and 12 months. Depending on facial muscle movements, the filler may dissolve earlier and the eyebrow may droop again. There is no issue with performing the procedure once or multiple times.

HIFU (Non-Surgical Face Lift)

Non-surgical face lift is a device used to counter eyebrow, chin, and cheek sagging, providing an effective non-surgical lifting effect. Thanks to this device, developed and used alongside technological advances, the desired result is achieved in 10 to 15 minutes, with a much longer-lasting effect. Before the procedure, a numbing cream is applied lightly to the face. It creates a lifting and tightening effect in the treated area using focused sound waves. You can continue your social life after the procedure.

Thread Eyebrow Lift

Thread eyebrow lift involves making a small incision within the hairline and lifting the eyebrow tips upward with threads. In this procedure, the more a patient uses their facial expressions, the higher the likelihood that the eyebrows will droop again. Depending on the individual, the effect can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years.

Temporal Lift Surgery

Temporal lift surgery is an operation performed for eyebrow lifting. However, it is not preferred very often by either surgeons or patients. In this surgical method, a large section of scalp skin is removed. The removal of this scalp skin, combined with tightening of the temples, can create a lifted appearance in the eyebrow area. However, this surgery can result in long hairless areas within the scalp, and these hairless areas may later expose the patient to undesirable conditions such as baldness. The recovery process is longer, and this surgery may involve swelling and bruising.

Endoscopic Eyebrow Lift

Endoscopic eyebrow lift surgery can be described as a procedure in which small incisions are made within the hairline, a camera is used to access the eyebrow area, and the eyebrow area is lifted upward and fixed in place. The advantages of endoscopic eyebrow lift surgery include: since only small incisions are made within the hairline, there are no hairless areas or visible scars; the results achieved can be more effective than even a classic face lift surgery; and the recovery process is very fast. After endoscopic eyebrow lift surgery, patients can return to their social life 2 to 3 days after the procedure. There is no need to stay in the hospital. It can generally be described as one of the most effective methods used for eyebrow drooping.
